The All Wall Extravaganza!

This past week has seen some serious improvements.

We have begun painting the walls, the ceilings, the floors. I have begun to paint my radiators.

I have finally turned on my hot water, apparently there's this knob and when it's turned one way, theres no hot water. Turn it the other way and the water gets hot. Who knew?

Kitchen cabinets are being installed, with lighting!

Well don't just take my word for it.

So the kitchen wall cabinets are up! And lit! We used 5 Xenon lights. It's funny, the box called them Halogen lights. Only thing is Xenon is a noble gas, its not a Halogen at all. Halogens are highly toxic, like Fluorine and Chlorine, Bromine, Iodine, and...ummmm..andddddd. Shoot I don't remember the last one. Well it's next to Polonium and its radioactive.

Anyway, my not halogen lights kick butt.

They sanded the floors. Since this picture was taken they have completely finished the floors. I however have no pictures of it since I was not allowed into the home for those 3 days. My only access to the house was through a 24 foot ladder to my balcony. I painted the majority of the upstairs in those 3 days.

Oh but check out the beast they used to finish the floors.

Ok moving on...


Seven of Three's new room. It has since received a second coat of paint and the floor is now the color Beachcomber, take a guess what it looks like.


The girls room is looking suitably girlie.

I have nearly finished our room, except someone knocked a hole in the wall (which I patched).

We will be moving en mass towards completing the downstairs.

Things are looking good.
